This Statement DOES NOT apply to any app, website, product or service of any third-party company which the App links to, or links to our App.  Viking does not operate or control these third-party websites, products or services.  Please always review the privacy practices of these third-party apps or websites before deciding whether to provide any information. 

As used herein, the term “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to any information that can be used to identify a specific person, or any anonymous information that is used to identify a specific person, including, but not limited to, participant identification information, including name, email address, user name, as well as information about a person’s physical state, etc., and will vary depending on the service used. 

Collection of Personally Identifiable Information

In order to use the App and system, you are required to provide Personally Identifiable Information.  The Personally Identifiable Information is provided, in part, through the registration process which either done through the website or on the App.  In addition, the App collects additional information which is used to track the users’ activity.  Providing us with your Personally Identifiable Information, indicates that you are giving us explicit permission to use that information for the specific purpose for which it is provide and for any other purpose described in this Statement. 

In addition, the App may collect Usage Data, which is defined as anonymous information regarding the use of our App through technical means.  This Usage Data is used only to monitor the volume of traffic on the App, primarily for tracking the health of the App and associated websites.  Your Usage Data may be aggregated and/or combined with other users Usage Data in a manner that is not personally identifiable to any individual user.  All aggregated and combined data are the exclusive property of Viking.  Nothing in this Statement limits our right to use any such non-personally identifiable or aggregated information in any way, or prohibits us from sharing such data. 

Information Use

Information about our App users is an important part of our business, and we do not share Personally Identifiable Information collected on our App with unaffiliated third-parties.  The only time that Personally Identifiable Information is shared with anyone is when the information from the App is transferred to the web-based reporting system.  Viking does not share information that is collected by the web-based reporting system.  However that information is maintained by each system administrator who may use the collected Personally Identifiable Information as they see fit.  Viking makes no warrantee or guarantee over the actions of a system administrator may have access and use such information.  Viking also reserves the right to use Personally Identifiable Information in the course of marketing the App.  In that event, Viking will take all steps practicable to preserve the identity of the person whose Personally Identifiable Information is being used.  For example, Viking may show how the Personally Identifiable Information is collected and maintained, but will take all steps practicable to redact any information that identifies the person. 

As our business evolves we may sell one or more of our companies, subsidiaries or business units.  As a result of such transactions, Personally Identifiable Information may be transferred as a business asset.  If this were to occur, the collection and use of your Personally Identifiable Information may be governed by the subsequent owner’s Privacy Policy. 

Viking reserves the right to release Personally Identifiable Information to unaffiliated third-parties when we believe such release is necessary to comply with the law or ordered by a court of law, or to protect the rights or property of Viking, our employees, affiliates, or others.  This includes the exchange of such Personally Identifiable Information in connection with a credit or fraud investigation.

Viking considers your Personally Identifiable Information one of its most important assets.  We take great efforts to protect this most valuable asset.  We have what we believe to be reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard your Personally Identifiable Information and prevent unauthorized access to it.  While such efforts are intended to ensure the confidentiality of your Personally Identifiable Information, we do not guarantee the absolute safety and security of your Personally Identifiable Information.  Moreover, we cannot guarantee that your Personally Identifiable Information will not be intercepted or otherwise disclosed.
